The Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas 2022 welcomed an estimated 475,000 attendees over three days in the desert. MTD was proud to provide comprehensive drinking water and wastewater services for both the festival grounds and the campground.
MTD supported EDC Las Vegas by delivering:
EDC organizers enlisted MTD to establish and manage the temporary water and wastewater systems for both the festival site and the adjoining campground. This included providing safe drinking water and wastewater disposal for various facilities, including toilet clusters, comfort stations, showers, and refill stations throughout the venue. The client required continuous service, especially in the campsite area, to ensure round-the-clock water access for attendees.
Operating in the desert environment posed significant logistical challenges, including managing the high demand for drinking water under extreme temperatures. Ensuring that the water systems remained operational across the vast festival and campground areas required precise planning and 24-hour availability from our on-site teams. Additionally, the remote nature of the desert setting demanded reliable equipment and contingency measures to prevent interruptions in water supply and wastewater management.
MTD successfully delivered uninterrupted water services across the entire festival and campground. The dedicated teams ensured that all areas, from comfort stations to water refill points, operated smoothly, keeping festival-goers hydrated and facilities fully functional. Despite the demanding conditions of the desert environment, MTD’s expertise and on-site support guaranteed a safe and efficient water infrastructure for the event, contributing to the positive experience and energy of EDC Las Vegas 2022.
