MTD supported Tomorrowland’s massive temporary transformation by delivering:
Tomorrowland organizers tasked MTD with setting up a comprehensive temporary water system for both the festival grounds and Dreamville, a temporary village that accommodates hundreds of thousands of visitors. MTD’s role was to ensure that all key areas—including stages, food stalls, sanitary facilities, and hospitality areas—had seamless access to water. Additionally, Dreamville’s organizers requested MTD’s support in achieving their sustainability goals through efficient water usage and recycling measures.
The sheer scale of Tomorrowland required precise planning and coordination. Temporary population growth in Dreamville posed logistical challenges, including ensuring safe water access during peak times and minimizing environmental impact. Additionally, providing a scalable and efficient infrastructure that adapted seamlessly to the festival’s evolving needs was paramount.
MTD successfully delivered an extensive water infrastructure solution that supported the needs of the Tomorrowland festival and the Dreamville village. Through careful planning, MTD ensured that all 600,000 attendees had easy access to sanitary facilities and essential services. MTD’s commitment to sustainability was evident through real-time monitoring of water usage and innovative measures that helped reduce drinking water consumption while maximizing wastewater recycling. This collaboration reinforced Tomorrowland’s position as not only a premier music festival but also a leader in sustainable event management.
