Challenges

The Invictus Games required an extensive and complex water setup to support multiple activities and venues within Zuiderpark. Coordinating connections for major kitchens, vacuum toilet clusters, and specialized areas such as the Jaguar/Land Rover activation program demanded precise planning and seamless execution. Ensuring reliable water flow for both hospitality and sanitary facilities while managing a high number of visitors and participants created a challenging logistical environment. Moreover, working within a public park that remained accessible during the event required efficient setup and minimal disruption.

Achievements

MTD successfully delivered a fully operational and efficient water system that met the diverse needs of the Invictus Games. From connecting critical kitchens and backstage facilities to providing accessible handwash stations and Phil refill stations, MTD ensured that all athletes, participants, and visitors had safe and reliable access to water. The Jaguar/Land Rover activation was also seamlessly integrated into our system, enhancing visitor experience. The successful collaboration with TIG Sports and Backbone International, alongside our expertise, resulted in an event that ran smoothly and met all client expectations.
