In May 2022, Intents Festival, one of the Netherlands’ premier hardstyle dance events, celebrated its 17th edition in Oisterwijk. MTD has been a trusted partner since 2014, initially providing 900 meters of piping. By 2022, this collaboration expanded to an impressive 14 kilometers of piping, underscoring MTD’s commitment to supporting the festival’s growth and sustainability initiatives.

MTD delivered a sustainable water infrastructure for Intents Festival by utilizing buffer bags with real-time capacity monitoring to prevent water waste. Water was sourced directly from a nearby river, which reduced transportation needs and CO₂ emissions, while also limiting the use of clean drinking water for non-potable needs, such as flushing. Wastewater was carefully filtered and repurposed, further conserving clean water resources. Additionally, MTD introduced real-time digital monitoring, providing continuous quality checks to ensure safe drinking water at the event.
