Our involvement underpins the critical role of sustainable water management in major sporting events, showcasing our industry-leading solutions on the biggest stage.
As Official Supporter, MTD will provide innovative temporary water systems ensuring an uninterrupted fresh water supply and efficient wastewater management throughout the event. Our temporary water infrastructures will serve various venues, where our expertise will be instrumental in meeting the diverse water needs of spectators, and organizers.
MTD’s commitment to Paris 2024 aligns with the Olympic and Paralympic Games’ ambitious sustainability goals, reinforcing the drive towards a circular economy and reducing the environmental footprint. To contribute to this, MTD aims to reuse 95% of their equipment, optimize transport and implement a water management plan: based on a comprehensive consumption estimate, an action plan is drawn to reduce and optimize overall water consumption. This innovation, introduced for Paris 2024, marks the first time such an estimation exercise has been implemented as part of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and will be transmitted to the IOC for legacy purposes.
