More than 70% of the earth consists of water. And more than 90% of the water is salt water and therefore not drinkable. MTD offers potable water and waste water solutions for offshore locations.
Guaranteed safe water supply
In order to carry out your work well and guarantee your staff good facilities to stay on a platform a good potable water supply and effective waste water disposal is crucial. Your people are on a relatively small venue for multiple days. Drinking, showering and cooking: everything depends on the assurance of that safe and reliable supply. Shipping water offshore is a major logistical challenge and very expensive, it is also difficult to ensure water quality.
In addition, you want to minimize the risk that you run out of water or the water becomes contaminated. MTD can solve this. We desalinate and purify seawater to potable water, monitor potable water quality, realize the entire water infrastructure and treat and discharge all the effluent. Our technicians are BOSIET (including HUET) trained for the installation and maintenance on site. This is all included within the MTD services. We take care of the total water chain so you can focus on your core business.
MTD meets high standards
The drinking water purification complies with WHO (World Health Organization) and EU guidelines. Our waste water treatment meets the IMO MARPOL requirements. All assessed and certified by Lloyds. Our treatment plants housed in a 10 ft. container can ensure up to 25m3 per day. With a larger footprint available the increase in water is scalable. Our units are DNV-certified and delivered plug and play to minimize installation time. On-site facilities are installed and after an extensive SAT, handed over to the customer. The (insulated) infrastructure is installed, including booster pumps and waste water pumps. We offer a complete package for the entire water system on location. Service and maintenance can be carried out according to a jointly prepared schedule and our organization works 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
